It's been explained again and again on here this season, I don't really get how some people still don't understand it. We're buying young players and trying to develop them. That means they won't be perfect. They will go through bad patches. We can't afford to do anything else.

Or we could just keep playing players who clearly aren't good enough and some of you will be satisfied.

Hes 25 years old he won't improve, he's gash. He's fuxking gash. I don't understand how people are bypassing the fact he cant string a pass or defend, he might attack a little bit but how many goals or assists does he have?

You're unhinged. He's being made a scapegoat when bigger frailties lay elsewhere.

Look at Hackney, O'brien or Barlaser on Saturday. They were far more culpable than Engel.

I'm not talking about Saturday I'm taking about all season, engel will end up at non league or back in Denmark within 3 or 4 year, and them 3 won't. I'm willing to bet you now?

Who said next season? I said 3 to 4 year, didn't mention any of them either.
Although I think silvera is not far off engel in terms of quality.

You’re right like - the lad just isn’t up to it. I do feel sorry for him really but he’s just so far out of his depth at this level. He does try hard but no amount of effort makes up for lack of ability. I really do wonder what people are watching sometimes

1 goal and 3 assists from a full back in early February is hardly bad is it. Only Leif Davis (11), Josh Tymon (5), Giannoulis (4), Junior Firpo (4) have more, and goals are a bonus from a full back as it is.

Keep hearing that he supposedly can't pass as well. He's in the top 100 for accurate passes per 90 minutes in the Championship, for comparison Leif Davis is 201st.

44th (out of 355) for big chances created.
80th (out of 382) for successful tackles per 90.
35th (out of 374) for interceptions per 90.
109th (out of 550) for chances created.

The constant slating he gets on here is beyond ridiculous. Feels like it's at the point where people look to try and find reasons to say something is his fault regardless of what happens.

Do the stats include mistakes that have led to goals against or chances missed by opponents ? That would be more interesting as he is a defender after all
