Family friendly places for food

Heading home for a weekend next week and am planning on going for some food. Where is decent at the minute and family friendly for kids 9 and 6?

Last couple times we've been to Cena in Yarm, Olivetto in the Village, The Zetland and Manjaro at Ingleby Golf Club which were all decent enough.

Happy to drive out to Great Broughton / Ayton etc for better food but nothing too formal as we've got the kids.

Peppermill in Billingham, Cafe Lilli in Norton. Both decent restaurants, I prefer the former. It's not a big place but there's plenty of room, they don't cram people in, the food is very good. Neither are formal but they're north of the river.

Have you tried the Blackwell Ox, great food and a great playground in a lovely setting.

I love Peppermill mate. Go regularly but with the party being 10 will be a tight squeeze 😁

Cheers for the suggestions. Not been to Cafe Lilli for ages and will have a look👍🏻

Jet miners was good, and the server:waiter we had was really attentive to the kids. About 12 months ago we went there
