I don't think they're the same to be honest, other than they're both out for themselves and their own finances. Oh and they're both incredibly think skinned.

Farage is an out and out racist crook. Some people don't mind that and that's fine.

Johnson is a bit more complicated. As Cummings has said this week, he almost convinces himself that what he's doing is okay or at least that it. Everyone he throws under the bus, he justifies to himself. He knows he's lying but you know, it will be fine. I'm pretty certain his end game is to get out of his position with a view to blaming everyone else and getting paid in books and speeches while coining it in. The harm he does along the way doesn't concern him.
