My previous Virgin deal (£28 / month for M200) expired in June. I called to cancel and got M250 for £31 / month for 2 years. What people's experience of using 4G/5G broadband?
I am sick tot he back teeth of being ripped off by Virgin - to be honest, their broadband is usually bang on but it is ridiculously overcharged. I am pushed to have a landline(that isnt a landline it is VoIP) and a cack TV service for £92/month.
I am tempted to disconnect and get 5G because we have a strong 5G signal -if it isnt any good then I will rejoin Virgin on a new offer and get a lot more than I am getting now.
Check for youfibre in your area. Otherwise stay with virgin ditch the tv and landline and tge price should be far more reasonableI phoned to disconnect and managed to get the same package for £48/month down from £92/month.
I really do want to disconnect but I will wait for 5G routers to come down in price.
I don't understand how/why people splash £92 on broadband??What people's experience of using 4G/5G broadband?

Drop me a PM if you want a referral, you'll get an extra 2 months free on top of what their new customer offer are.I'm still waiting for Youfibre to be installed in the area of Thornaby I live in.Current prices are approx half what I'm currently paying with V M.I just wish Youfibre would bl00dy hurry up!
5g can be great if the best you can otherwise get is 72mb type openreach but agree it will never be decent unless all you do is browsing and NetflixI don't understand how/why people splash £92 on broadband??
Anyway, 4G/5G is never going to be as stable and fast as a hard wired connection. I'd love to be proved wrong.
I have had terrible trouble with my broadband continually dropping out. I think it's a problem with my socket. Have had 5 or 6 engineers round. Never fix it. I have given up after the last time it went down and they said I needed to give them 2 days for the engineer to turn up. **** that.5g can be great if the best you can otherwise get is 72mb type openreach but agree it will never be decent unless all you do is browsing and Netflix
If you only use Netflix and the like they only use 10-25Mbps speeds so you can do that on 4g easily enough depending on your signalI have had terrible trouble with my broadband continually dropping out. Work gave me a 4g thing to use recently. It seems ok and hasn't been dropping out anywhere near as much as my broadband. Think I might switch to 4/5G. Will it give me enough to stream at 4k?
I was with Dky.... can anyone recommend a broadband supplier please. I live in TS16. Thank you
I was with Sky for 20 years. Moved to Virgin. Best ever move in my life. Great service. Top HDIf you only use Netflix and the like they only use 10-25Mbps speeds so you can do that on 4g easily enough depending on your signal
