It's a lot of turnover in one transfer window @coluka might affect our momentum and consistency for a while.

Do we have momentum and consistency to affect?

We need to a striker and another CM, we haven’t replaced Mowatt who proved to be somewhat important in the run-in last season.

I think we will sell Payero as well so there will be a gap that needs filling.

Chuba replacement as well as I’m not sure I see Rogers filling that role once he’s replaced as the striker.

27 seems heavy to me. Most teams operate on 2 for every position plus 3 keepers (maybe 3 AF)

I think Lath will play AF personally, if he's out right I think we'll ship Jones out.

I love Crooksy, a great for team morale maybe, but I don’t see how he fits in other than a bench warmer in a MC team. He isn’t a hard man, robust and a bit clumsy maybe, but not hard.

Payero, keep forgetting about him. I think he’ll likely be off too. Barlaser is an enigma as to where you play him, He has the 4 shirt so think he’s going nowhere just yet, January might see him move on mind.

So, this is where we're at. Coburn likely to go on loan to Plymouth. 24 man squad once Coburn goes. Space for maybe 3 more. So what do we need to finish off the squad rebuild?

Boam wore 5 (Souness was 4) pretty sure Johnston wore 10 as did Mahoney I think, Boersma was never 4 either, think Otto was 8….

Coburn must be gutted if he gets sent to Plymouth - although, the Plymouth manager is making a very good impression - id like to see Coburn go to Derby if we send him out on loan, a very progressive manager, decent crowds and start to put behind us our recent dispute with them.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 or 3 go, there are a couple of young projects in there, and a couple with injuries too which reduce the available numbers

I am in a minority and think the first 11 are good enough for promotion and am happy, as I was on Saturday with the team,apart from crooks.

Carrick got some decisions wrong but he will reassess.

Some additions would be useful but I don't really care now and would keep my powder dry until January.
