Absolutely no point in keeping JLS as even under 2 mangers he's not had a kick. The issue is if we have a clause to send him back.

We still need another CM to play around Howson / Crooks and Tav. Just to save moving Mcnair into CM.

What happened to Conor Malley? I really thought he would kick on this season after a couple of good performances at the back end of last season but he hasn't had a look in.
 
How the f*ck is a 20 year old who's hardly kicked a ball on 40k a week? If true then the games gone mad.

I could understand if he'd broke into the first team and won a new deal.

I'm simply not having it that he's on that much or we'd pay that. I'd have thought 15-20k at best.

Also shows why champo clubs don't go for the many high profile prem U23 players if true. He would comfortably be our highest paid player.
 
Has anyone seen much of him? I watched the Arsenal Sunderland game a few weeks ago and thought he was pretty average, he missed a couple of very good chances and just didn’t look comfortable or confident all game.

The same happened last year with all the loans. He saw them off then and will probably again.

We have 3 loan forwards on good money. It's hardly a longterm project paying all these loan fees and wages.

Can we not scout and find some forwards to buy and have longterm (develop and sell).
 
They might be thinking they can get better quality players on loan than they can afford to buy, or the players they want aren’t available? I agree we need permanent boro players to build a side long term - if this goes to plan we might see these lads staying.
