Especially Forss, I don't think in his full career at senior level he has had an injury free season and the majority always seem to be hamstring relatedFfs.
Love them both but they are so injury prone. Irritating.

There's something to be said that he was considered fit to play for his country. He was also asked if it was the same injury (plantar fascilitis) to his foot that kept him out previously, and Carrick replied that it was a different foot injury.
There's something to be said for wearing a more robust shoe. Some modern shoes are like carpet slippers.
If this is true, get them both fit & get them soldBoth want away.....

Interesting one of the “Heads of” in the medical team has gone as to be honest, there needs to be fresh blood brought in as our injury situation this season has been unacceptable for a professional team, and it is absolutely not down to pure “bad luck”.There really does need to be a root and branch review of our training approach and injury management at the end of the season. We’ve a shocking record. Is it the intensity of our training? I know Carrick likes to replicate the real match scenarios, but if our players are so fragile is it worth that approach. It feels like we’ve had a full eleven out for almost all the season. I know other teams have suffered too, but we really do seem to tear the ars3 out of it, pardon the pun!
Just been announced on the boro instagram page which I find a bit weird. Would we normally announce that 2 players won’t play again this season? Kind of makes me think that we may not see them both again in a boro shirt?
Maybe I’m reading too much into it.
Are they retiring?Probably won’t see them again
Are they retiring?
Just the 40 years for me and agree I can’t remember a season this badI’ve been following Boro 50 odd years and can’t remember a season as bad, but maybe it’s my memory and the disappointment and frustration of this season, but I can’t honestly remember one as bad. I think Carrick is doing a great job btw and am chuffed with the resilient nature of today’s performance. However, if this pattern continues, we will struggle to ever put out our strongest XI.
Were we? I mean Akpom was injured start of the season and playing with injuries at the end of the season Ramsey got nobbled, Clarke joined then got injured for the season, fry missed nearly half a season, jones, McNair and McGree all missed 25% of the season. We've been really unlucky with injuries this season, but conversely I think the opposite was true last season.
I'm sure that there's been work done to identify if there's any learning from this season, but the fact that last season was entirely different at least suggests not.
Fry misses way too many games and a decision needs to be made on him I reckon. Were we? We did go a couple of months of barely any injuries, but by the end we’d had our share
Yeah he’s another one. Just disappeared off the face of the earth. Again.Fry misses way too many games and a decision needs to be made on him I reckon.
AgreedFry misses way too many games and a decision needs to be made on him I reckon.
Oh right!From the Boro yes
He's played a big chunk of the season with an injury, but managed it game by game apparently, until it became too much to do so.Fry misses way too many games and a decision needs to be made on him I reckon.
