I remember him from Big Brother he's been on the radio about half hour ago on the way home tonight. He's saying he's the new MP for Rochdale after tonight and he is going to shake the foundations of Parliament . He's said he is going to put both leaders to shame and they will be trembling when he walks through the doors. I didn't realise he was still going in politics I thought the cat milk licking thing finished him off. I know through reading the board in the past a lot of you do politics so is he going to make any difference to anything at all. I heard he was going to take Rochdale FC back to the big time also, That's if he does win the vote today. How's he going to take them back to the big time is he loaded? Maybe he will become the new chairman 😃 ❓
 
Galloway was doing well for a while and I enjoyed him as a thorn in Tony Blair's side.
He always had an affinity with all things arab and middle eastern and is very, very knowledgeable on the history of the problems. I think he might have converted because he has muslim wife and ex-wife. Maybe.
But he clearly got high on his little bit of success and quickly went up his own ring piece. Maybe it showed him to be the attention seeker he always was.

He was like Farage in his ability to totally dominate discussion & debates like on QT etc but would always end up shooting himself in the foot by saying something daft.
 
Political grifter.

He's not going to shake anything up at all, and by Monday will be largely forgotten about.

In the current political climate there will be more scandals, wrongdoings etc emerging so the Rochdale by-election will become yesterday's news pretty quickly.

Good to see Reform continue to flounder - guess little boats and immigration isn't the country's biggest worry, huh?
 
He will lose in 9 months time but Rochdale have a history of electing bonkers individuals. Cyril Smith after all dominated the vote there for many years.
