I think it’s a good fit.
Massive job though. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
I wouldn’t know where to start at Man Utd. Apart from binning 20 of their players, which is easier said than done.
Some of the money they’ve squandered is absolutely obscene.
 
I don't think MU are any closer to competing again than they have been in the last decade.

I think GS should turn this down unless he's given a guarantee of time to rebuild with young players, like he has done with England.

I don't want him to go there and be a success as Utd are a horrid club. Nor do I want him to go there and fail as it's a club rotten to the core and he doesn't deserve to have that blot on his record.

I wouldn't blame him if he took the job on though as they are a huge club and the potential is very high.
 
He’s got to be given guarantees. Such as, no don’t like the look of that Antony lad. He looks horrendous. Don’t spunk 100m on him please.
 
Southgate is maybe the type of person and leader to turn around the shambles of Man United.

The likes of Mourinho was too confrontational, Van Gaal a bit too arrogant, Ten Hag has attempted to be stern headmaster.

Southgate would bring a bit of common sense, listen to the players and give them responsibility. He reminds me a little bit of football’s version of Stuart Lancaster (rugby Union for those not aware).
