Glastonbury Tickets

Glastonbury is now essentially a middle aged, middle class, Instagram opportunity
It really isn’t. I find it a cross section from the very young to the old and there’s plenty of fare on offer to appeal to everybody. The only thing that’s missing is the drunkenness you get at Reading or Chelmsford.

Isn't Bryan Ferry not well so Roxy Music may not do the legends slot. Pulp will play but I think they will have agreements with other festivals so will probably do a "secret" set in somewhere like the Park like they did last time, because they were headlining Leeds/Reading. If they play officially they will headline I think.
Is he? He played the O2 in London last month?

Great idea by Glastonbury to do that. It’s raising a lot of money for the Trussell trust.

I saw that and had mixed feelings.
Great to make money for such a worthy charity but - in the end it’s just allows those with money to beat the system.

They always will though so if a charity can benefit from it as well why not. Glastonbury is now so far removed from its altruism of the 70s and 80s. It’s a massive business attracting everybody it can.

As an aside they are also raffling off tickets next week for us mere peasants who can’t afford donating thousands of pounds.

Yeah, that’s fair.
I turned down tickets last year because I was asked to pay double.
Probably too obstinate
