I've always been a massive Specials fan and was completely gutted when I heard the sad news this morning.
It was apt, after seeing the Specials on plenty of occasions, that the last concert we saw them play was at the Ricoh arena after the Boro game last season. It was probably the best I'd seen live or maybe a close second to a gig in Bridlington a few years back.
I was brought up on the two tone sound and listen pretty much every other day.
RIP Terry and thanks for the journey from my youth to my middle age. Your journey may have finished but I'm certain that your music will be appreciated for years to come.
