Parish councils are low level - they have little cash.

However this is good example of a group of Captain Mainwaring types trying to impose themselves on each other and an example of middle class/middle England.

I was asked by Party colleague to observe a Parish Council meeting at the parish one away from us as the last one had descended into a face to face version of this media sensation which had ended up with one councillor slagging off another as a newcomer and typical scouse trash which continued as a facebook fued to the extent the Liverpool Echo got wind of it and published an article about it.

As I parked up the first person I met was the District Council monitor who had been called in and the second was our local neighbourhood bobby who let me know that the Derbyshire Football Intelligence officer was here as well as they got wind of a gang of scousers actually driving down to cause bother.

5 minutes later a transit turns up with around 10 lads with distinct accents who tried to storm the village hall. Agendas and minutes were everywhere as they searched for the local antiscouser and the best bit was when loads of local people started pointing the lad out and his brother! I had a great view then more blue lights turned up and the lads were escorted back to the A50 in the direction of the M6.

To this day when I drive through that village I look at the still vacant space on the lampost where the dog dirt bin was supposed to go which they never got around to.
 
I watched it earlier. Undoubtedly some funny moments like when the toilet flushed and the iPad went off, but actually mostly a sad watch. A Deluded group of nasty bitter bad tempered individuals, full of their own self importance. Fair amount of mysogny going on too. Probably all got tiny penises would be my bet.
