I can't remember anyone celebrating St George's Day when I was growing up but it started to become more talked about in the mid 90's, not sure why? Maybe it was a counter push against independence movements in the Uk, but that's a guess. I have celebrated it but then there is people who I have met who use it to promote their idea of their superiority not inclusiveness, How do you see it @The_Tiler ? what I feel about Paddies day is that it is more inclusive, and anyone but anyone can take part in it - if you want to.Racist.
