Yes, totally different culture as well. It's probably not as easy as he thinks to become a kicker. NFL kickers need to be consistent. They do the same thing every single time and it's a technique they will have been practicing 100x per day for 20 years by the time they are Kane's age. Footballers spend their whole time practicing different things so while a football player could probably score a field goal I'm not sure they'll have the consistency to do it every time. It would be an interesting experiment and they make good enough money it would be something interesting to do instead of going to play a rubbish standard of football in USA/Saudi/China etc.
Punters & Kickers can drill them between the posts from 70+ yards in training even non-NFL players can hit one from 80...I've seen him hit 60 yard field goals on a training field which puts him up there with the best in the nfl in terms of leg strength.
Its obviously a lot different in a game situation though when the game is on the line. It would be interesting to see how Kane would do though, he obviously has the natural talent and work ethic to potentially succeed but I don't think its a given either.

It isn't pure power that is important, it is the height required to get it over the defenders so it isn't blocked, then the power to carry the distance and of course the accuracy to get it between the posts.
I just can't see that Kane (or anyone transferring sport at 30+ despite how often they kick a ball) would be able to master the timing & technique coupled with the power & accuracy to make it in the NFL.
Christian Wade, who was a brilliant Union winger got on the roster for the Denver Broncos at one point but only ever their training squad. He was never taken on professionally.
Funny, Beckham is the first person who sprung to mind who would be good at this.I remember footage of Beckham nailing a field goal from fkn miles.
It was a promotion for Adidas or Nike or something, but I don't know if it was fake.
