Trafalgar Square 1998, night before we played Chelsea in the League Cup Final. I had nipped off to use a toilet. Got back to find my mates standing next to Jack Charlton who had popped by to soak up the atmosphere. Jack raised the can in his hand and said "cheers" as my mates explained he had helped himself to a couple of my cans of lager for him and his mate who he was with. You can't really argue at that can you. Jack in exchange signed my betting coupon which I still have.
