Hotels for Chelsea

Rembrandt at South Kensington/Knightsbridge.
Concierge is from East Cleveland, and is a big, big Boro fan. We’ve got 4 rooms at special rates with brekky thrown in.

There are three very well priced (for London) Hilton's where you could walk to the ground from. Doubletree Chelsea £120, Kensington £143, and the excellent 100 Queen's Gate £144 on my very quick search

I chose to be near the train station for the morning - have to get my son to school so catching the 615 train from Kings Cross.

I'm up in Kensington in Holiday Inn. Thought it was closer than what it is to the ground. Was leathered when I booked it after the West Brom match and it's non refundable.
About 35 min walk or 3 stops on the tube.

My lads scored 2 days off school for it

Where will people be heading for a pre match pint? Close to the ground or elsewhere in London?

Some Chelsea fans we met on Tuesday night suggest Courtfield by Earls Court station. Based on previous experience I'd probably get a drink somewhere central/Earls Court and then quick trip across on the tube to Fulham Broadway where the ground is.

That was sort of my plan as Earls Court is roughly half way from my hotel to the ground. I thought grab a bite to eat and a few pints round Earls Court. Be good if we could nominate a pub to get a few Boro in.

Just checked there at that Courtfield pub is right opposite the station.

Will probably have a couple at lunch time around Covent Garden
