Don't be silly, it's like hiring a under 12s manager cause he won the world cup. Won't happen. If England win the World Cup then Sarina Wiegman’s name should definitely be in the mix to replace Gareth Southgate.

How's it ignorant? Just facts, surely they wouldn't walk into the england job. Saying that stranger things have happend .I expected to catch a few but not something as ignorant straight off the bat.
No?Did you see the earlier post ref sexism?
Wenger and Mourinho had the equivalent of Northern league experience as players before progressing into management.
Did he manage england? I must of slept through that.Lennie Lawrence?
They weren't top players but they had a lot of experience within football before becoming managers. Wenger coached youth/reserve football before getting assistant jobs at lower league clubs before getting a manager's job. Mourinho started right at the bottom, and really got his break through being a translator for Bobby Robson and then worked as an assistant for him and then some of the best managers at the time before he got a manager's role.Did you see the earlier post ref sexism?

Well I've won that bet with my daughter quickly! The bet was if the women win the world cup, how quickly will people use this unrelated fact to bash Southgate on line (even if slightly joking). The answer seems to be -3 days!If England win the World Cup then Sarina Wiegman’s name should definitely be in the mix to replace Gareth Southgate.
He would have if he'd been any good. Schoolteacher takes a team into the first Premier League, so I'm pretty sure he'll have had under 12 management experience. Perhaps not?Did he manage england? I must of slept through that.
Did he not play semi pro? Which is a much higher standard than women's football. And I was just referring to the plonker who mentioned that a woman could be considered for thr England job on the back of winning the women's World cup, but then again the more I look at the statement its a FA wet dream. He would have if he'd been any good.
