How many FMTTM users have you met in real life?

That's right we all meet up and sit in a circle because it represents democracy to us and we like to talk about green issues and local issues and we believe democracy shouldn't just be at the balot box but we should participate in it all the time like in a union for example or was under Labour

That's why as well as having our own opinions we listen to other views (like Nobbys) Well we don't like to listen to them, but, you know we do let him have his say

And as well as being green and environmentally conscious we also like to drink Malbec from Argentina and Pinot Noir from New Zeland whilst we listen to the beach boys and Miles Davis kind of blue because as well as being green we're also massive hypocrites and truth be told fairly middle class

Probably quite a few. I think I sat next to Rob once
If you've just accused me of being middle class then you definitely haven't met me.

If we go back to this board's humble beginnings, then I'd easily say hundreds. I've been to the weddings of people I've met on here and they've been to mine.

In the days of FMTTM Footy at the Southlands Centre I would regularly have 28 board members playing footy each week.

There was also the pre and post game meet ups at Dr Browns and one year we even had an end of season Message board awards.

All of the left wing posters on here meet at my house once a week so that's half a dozen of you that I've met. And me and Nobby regularly go to each other's houses to eat chips and play kids games from the seventies and the eighties. It's Buckaroo this week. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm hoping to meet HarryVegas one day so that I can stroke his beautiful hair.
Have you and Nobby played Operation yet, I'd love to join you for a game of that. Hoping I'm not being presumptuous inviting myself - I wouldn't want any chips.

Probably a handful. Spent a few enjoyably boozy nights in London with Rkangel, alongside squarewheelbike, though swb always somewhat inexplicably frequented The Other Place more than here. Know Rob and Fischer. And watched Boro from pubs in Newcastle in the company of several posters whose names I've long forgotten.

As I said on here a couple of years ago, the last time this thread came up, I have no idea how many of you I've met. I don't go around introducing myself to people as bumface from FMTTM.

Do you reckon there's a poster that you know really really well that you don't know is a poster?

For example, someone in your office that is posting at the same time as you across the desk and you don't even know.

Good point.

It’s Unlikely since I’m the only person I know in the whole of Cambridgeshire, let alone my workplace who supports the mighty Boro.

Used to live near Cambridge AET, town called Royston.

Few years back now like.. between the ages of 15 and 18.

Came home as soon as I could afford my own place.

Off the old board, maybe a dozen or so. Usually at concerts or something or other that Fischer or Rob had organised.

Off here, the following:
Concrete Dreams (sit with him at games, when he can be bothered to turn up; he drinks my coffee and beer)
Littlejimmy (sing in the same choir)
alanmoodysdog (bought a gazillion records off him before he emigrated)
Norman Conquest (tomato plant and fuschia lockdown exchanges)
goalscrounger (knocked lumps out of each other at five a side decades ago)
robfmttm (away games, concerts, podcasts)
Melvis (proofread his books)
