Nick Hancock is shown round a hospital ward where people are aimlessly wandering round shouting things like “wee cowerin’ timorous beasty”, “a man’s a man for all that”, “my love is like a red red rose”, and “great chieftain of the pudding race”.
Hancock says “I take it this is the mental ward”, and the accompanying doctor says “No, it’s the serious Burns unit”.
Sorry, couldn't resist posting it, even a day late.
Good spot. I edited it now. Before or after he presented "They think it's all over" ??
Looks decent, the proof is in the tasting, miss getting the ferry to Belfast as used to call at the butchers in Newton Stewart for the best haggis I have tasted.so you rate mine ?

Most of the ones they sell in supermarkets these days don't use stomach. They're made of heart lungs and liver and have a man made casing. Don't know if heart or lungs are any easier for you to swallow like.We had a vegetarian haggis, turnip and mash last night - absolutely lovely.
Even though I do eat meat, couldn't stomach a real haggis, just the thought of it turns my stomach.
When I was at university most evenings were finished off with a couple of pints in the pub and a stroll down the road for a white pudding supper. Only ever had white pudding in Scotland. Looking on google maps now I see the chippy, the last remaining old fashioned chippy in the town, is now a funeral parlour. Kind of fitting in a way, last time I was in there a few years ago it was real coronary on a plate stuff, deep fried pizzas and Mars bars.I like haggis, also like white pudding but can't find it in many places.
