How's your optimism going into tomorrow?

How optimistic are you about finishing in a play off place?

I believe we'll most likely win, but will if Sheff Utd drop points will be win big enough to overcome the GD? Its unlikely we won't, but not impossible by any means.

I also can't see Luton slipping up, but then I thought that as naive kid when Gary McAllister's Leicester ***ed on our fire (©️ Christopher Wilder 2022) back in the day.

I'm just going to enjoy the moment, because isn't that what it's all about after all?

It's nothing to do with us sadly .. we could win 10-0 and still miss out .. Luton / Sheff U lose and we concede an injury time equalizer ("typical Boro" blah blah) ..

All we can do is go do our bit and whatever happens elsewhere happens .. I'm going into it expecting nothing and hoping for everything.

I don't like having to rely on teams doing you a favour.... Have a feeling we may just do it though - Connolly to score late 2nd half and be an instant cult hero. I've enjoyed the season (well since Wilder came in), if we don't reach the play offs I'll just look forward to another Champ season.

Can see all three teams winning tbh. Typical last day, we're in the playoffs, we're out, back in, looking to do it......then Luton or Sheff Utd hit an injury time winner, or we concede a late one. Can't see it being a dull ,90+ minutes that's for sure!
If things don't pan out, so be it, will still be really looking forward to next season in the Championship. Daughter is already pencilling in the away trips 😁😁

It’ll be 7:30 am here in Toronto

Luton vs Reading on DAZN Canada
Sheffield U vs Fulham on DAZN Canada
Preston vs Boro on livemfc.co.uk

Our lass and me will be side-by-side on our adjustable beds streaming all 3 matches to multiple devices with a newly opened bottle of Monymusk Special Reserve to accompany the coffee.

Hopefully the setup for a great weekend. It sure has the makings of one hell of a ride!!! COME ON BORO!!!!

I think we’ll get a decent win but I can’t see Sheff Utd or Luton messing up tomorrow, sadly.
That said, my measure of success when Wilder came in was to be going into the last game with something still to play for, so for me, in that sense we’ve done well no matter what happens tomorrow.

Even if we win (which is unlikely) we are hoping Fulham turn up. Even if Fulham turn up they have a game on a Sheffield.

They might draw but can’t see it being 0-0. Maybe 1-1 if we are lucky. Then we need to win by 3 which we won’t do.

Luton is a given.

We are relying on too much going our way.
