Pretty sure Hungary has one of the best vaccination rates in Europe and one of the smallest infection rates aswell.55,000 full house at this game most shouting most unvaccinated - how will the NHS in Hungary cope?
According to data here:Pretty sure Hungary has one of the best vaccination rates in Europe and one of the smallest infection rates aswell.
You're right of course but I think we've all seen that in practice, unless the player is actually guilty of serious (and I mean serious) foul play or lunging in with excessive force and clearly endangering the opponent's safety, so that it's a red card offence in and of itself, it's almost always going to be a yellow card if the penalty is awarded for a DOGSO offence. How is pulling a player back by his shoulder "attempting to play the ball".
And 128 new cases yesterday. What good is quoting data from a year ago, pre-vaccination?According to data here:
Hungary has the second highest number of deaths from Covid per head of population in the entire World. Also the second highest number of cases, again per head of population. That doesn't seem to be a good reason for no restrictions.
I'll readily agree that in the last few weeks their infection rate has come down. And they may well have fantastic vaccination rates. Clearly their country has made the decision that social distancing is completely superfluous. As to what good is quoting data from the start of the pandemic - well perhaps we should question the news media who slavishly report every day the total figures for UK deaths since the start of the pandemic. And 128 new cases yesterday.
