I have truly mixed feelings over derby...

What if SG started the proceeding believing he had a legitimate claim and wanted to bring MM to task for it. He probably thought it would be resolved much quicker than this.
Let us also presume that he did so to get the EFL to tighten up the rules and administer them properly.

With the mess this is causing and with Bausor on the EFL board the second point is achieved or achievable.

With Derby in administration what could be his motive in continuing the action. I don't believe he wants DFC to go to the wall.
How will DFC be viable if they go out of business and what return will MM get from stadium rental if they do.

Perhaps it's become a clever plan to help the club and supporters by getting MM to come to some sort of agreement regarding ownership of the ground.

Fanciful perhaps but I think there is more to this than we know.

Is there any parallel with the sheff utd v West ham case. West ham broke the rules to sign 2 players, sheff utd were relegated and then won a case against West ham and were awarded compensation.

Someone like Mike Ashley could pay us and Wycombe off with some of the £200m profit he made @ Newcastle and everybody is happy.

Don't want Ashley anywhere near them personally.... from a business point of view, he ran Newcastle pretty well (even though the fans hated him)

Can you imagine the sponsorship though..... Sports Direct @ Pride Park ?

We don't - MFC is not at fault, the previous ownership of Derby County is

MFC is attempting to uphold the rules of the league, so stop trying to look at this from an emotional point of view, emotions have no place in business
Business used to be conducted with an agreement, a handshake and most importantly with honesty. Can this be applied to board of Derby and Morris? The EFL haven't come out of this well, so many get out clauses in their statement. We set the rules but can change them as we see fit.
It's obvious SG will not let this go, it's pressure tactics to get his claim settled I'm convinced of this but it will cost this club a lot of goodwill by the general football fan.

Tom Lawrence scored 2 fabulous goals at the weekend. He must be worth over 10 million and is allegedly on 37k per week, yet they haven't sold him even with the prospect of the club going out of existence. Its a ridiculous situation. If it were you or me people would be coming in the house and taking the TV.

Have you seen what Derby have done?

Nothing honest about them, they are trying to deflect their own actions and make MFC / Wycombe the ' bad guys '
If you've read any of my previous comments, you will know I am not defending the actions of Derby F.C and I am calling them and the EFL out over this. I'm highlighting again, the fall out that we as a club are getting. it is not good and I and others on here don't like it. Ultimately we don't have all the reasons why S.G is perusing his claim, and no doubt we will find out in due course. Will it be too late for Derby F.C, who knows time will tell on that too.

You’d assume that they are getting offers. If he’s valued at anywhere near £10m, clubs will be offering a lot less, much less, knowing that they’re backed into a corner.

I‘m sure I read that Wigan paid £30k for Shinnie.

very good point, I mean there you go right there, Tevez and Mascherano shouldn't have played for West Ham...Mount, Wilson and Waghorn shouldn't have played for Derby

This is exactly what grips my excrement. The administrators are not football managers, they are supposed to make sure that those who face financial loss through Derby mismanagement can get there dues. He should be sold, yes with 6 months left they'll be lucky to 500k but they'll also save 1mill in wages that could be paid out to those they owe money too. Bolton had to do it, so why haven't Derby?
