If Crooks is out longish term, what do we do?

It’s maybe just cramp — just wait and see. On the subject of Hoppe, I don’t understand why some people are clambering for him to be given a chance. He’s played in the u-23s and from what I’ve been told he’s been ok but while he’s managed being on the bench you can’t say he’s any closer to starting.

My point here is that if Muniz was in favour he’d be surely miles ahead of Hoppe. Moreover, Archer has just been signed and gets on the field with almost his first day at the club.

If Hoppe was going to make it at MFC, I’m sure his natural progression would have been to start as soon as there had been an injury to the likes of Crooks, Watmore, or any of the other strikers, but it hasn’t happened. I’d be surprised if Hoppe makes it even though Carrick has asked for patience with the lad.

I’d stick with what we have. I presume he’s only gonna be out for a couple weeks if at all.

Not sure why people want to move Forss back central, he’s doing very well on the right and contributing with important moments. He can play both roles very well.

Archer would come in and be the striker.

It's an interesting one for me.

I don't like Crooks up top, he looks a bit ungainly, doesn't anticipate and move like a striker and lacks pace. Forss often looks less involved when out wide. Crooks is much more of a handful for defenders to deal with, and his height is important on set plays, Forss work rate and pace causes the opposition problems.

For me the team doesn't look as fluid, our passing looks a bit off and Akpom seems to have a little less space/time. Compared to Forss up top and someone else on the right.

The flip side, it's working great, both are scoring and we keep winning .
