Ok he hasn't scored the goals we hoped but i've never seen him lack effort or fight - that goes a long way for me if the performance level isn't there.

The fans who did that are a disgrace. A few years ago I said we have some of the best fans in the country and some of the worst. The Riverside is toxic as hell sometimes and tonight was another example of that.
He hasn't deserved booing either. One thing we've always got from connolly is hard work. The quality hasn't been there but it's not been for the lack of trying.
