Opinions on here after the match is part and parcel of the game as is discussions during the game but booing before he comes on and during is really not my cup of tea and wouldnt do it ....

even some of that gets over the top and personal.....and in fact, if you dare try and be the voice of reason and pragmatism, you get abused by some people and called a 'di*$*$(head'. Some of our fans are pathetic.

This video now online of him looking worse for wear at a party where it looks like there’s drugs being taken doesn’t help. Went away with his missus instead of watching the team play.

hang on a minute chief, that's a big claim that you might want to think about retracting. Why do you say drugs are being taken and there is nothing there that makes me think he is partaking in anything.

something in the psyche of our 'supporters' is broken, it needs to change, if a player isn't good enough, or isn't in form, I can accept that, but as long as they don't hide, and put the effort in then why do this? He hasn't been strolling around like Yakubu did when he wanted to go to Everton, he's tried but on the ball his efforts haven't worked. But he puts himself forwards, he closes down non-stop and at times he was closing down on his own as Sporar waddled about doing nothing.

I'm not fan of Sporar, or Britt before him, but I never booed either.

Connolly has been such a poor signing on the pitch, contributing so little in so many minutes played, that there is absolutely no need to pile on to him for off field claims that are incorrect, inconclusive or irrelevant.
If he never plays again at The Riverside it should be because he hasn't been remotely good enough on the pitch.

That said, let's not have it that he's suddenly been a better player for us and has rich promise, just because he has been unfairly treated by some of our less emotionally intelligent followers.

I'm not a fan of his, and his time here has been disappointing but I can't knock him for effort and I certainly wouldn't boo him whilst wearing a boro shirt. Serves to achieve nothing positive.
