Will be feeling the same sense of sadness witnessing the horror and tragedy which is blighting our beloved England and countrymen.

As if Covid and it's gut churning impact on peoples lives and the division and uncertainty that Brexit besets the nation, it now has another
kick in the guts to deal with and more misery for it's population, the terrible weather and floods.

Us expats may be far far away in body but our minds and hearts are amongst you every day.

I'm sure all expats around the world will join me, by wishing you all the very best and hope and pray that a brighter future
is not far away, for you, the people who are all still close to our hearts.

Stay safe and positive.

Heartbreaking watching the news tonight & seeing families homes destroyed, flooded out, everything gone in a blink of an eye & no matter what you try to do nature will win

Here here. Its never easy reading the posts this last 12 months, especially from somewhere that has, so far, managed to get through this pandemic with the least amount of disruption.

Just need a glimmer of light in the not too far . Hey who knows guys maybe Neil might deliver a ‘bit‘ of joy come end of season . Certainly wouldn’t be for the want of trying

It was heartbreaking.

Recently and sadly, here in Oz, we witnessed nature at it's cruelest with the wild and impossible to deal with bushfires whereby many
people lost everything. Their homes, outbuildings, machinery and all their livestock.
Small Villages wiped of the map never to be rebuilt.

I say cruel because it was only a matter of a few weeks before the downpour began followed by raging floods.
If only the rains had come that little bit sooner, the bushfires would have been fewer and further between and many homes
and wildlife could've been saved.
