Chelsea vs Newcastle trevor chalobah blatantly pulls the goerdies shirt and trips yet no penalty? Incredible.
 
Why have VAR if stuff like that isn't getting checked. I think teams should have 2 chances per half to refer to VAR and unless they ask for it to be checked then it doesn't get checked

TalkSport said VAR checked for the penalty but he was deemed to be offside, so one couldn't be given.

I'm not actually watching, so I'm having to trust what they're saying.

Think that was Werner straight afterwards mate, the geordies should have had a penna a minute before.
 
The Premier League is a cheating Division like. Rolling about when you haven’t been touched etc. That’s why they had to introduce VAR. (n)
 
The shirt pulling started outside the box so would probably be a free kick. Definitely think it was a foul

No, that would make it a penalty.

Law 12 states:

If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick.
