I lived in Watford, when my son was younger I would nearly always take him to Watford Away, Poor lad didn't realise Boro sometimes won until I took him to a home game when we were up visiting family, ironically it was Watford at home when Downing and Johnson ripped them apart and we won 4-1.
We missed this season's win there as we were both playing hockey 🤬

Same, some of our passing was well below par. We seemed a bit more rushed / panicked than normal. All came good in the end though. Probably understandable with the games coming thick and fast and the squad getting smaller and smaller.

Hit the nail on the head, I think last night had the signs of a mentally tired performance.

Luckily they all powered through. Makes it more impressive
 
I thought we were the better team in the 1st half. Then we scored and they had about 30 minutes where they were on top, and we struggled - all the 50/50s went the other way, and we could not string anything together. But they are not a bad side. Getting the 1st goal was obviously key.

That was a really good three points, especially when you look at the players we had unavailable. Yet again players off the bench made a very positive impact, which is a great sign.
 
Thought it was terrific tactical management to make all those changes in that short space of time last night. It really looks like we have alot of quality on the bench.

They did look a bit jaded but last season we would have lost or drawn that match, there is more fight and heart in this squad. You need that in the Championship on a Tuesday night away at Norwich, it’s a tough place to go.
