Is Steve Gibson waiting for Steve Gerrard?

Just a thought. Similarly thought of to how Robbo was in the 90s. Looks like he could be available soon.
 
The golden generation have done nowt as managers

Lampard, Scholes, Nevilles, Giggs, Gerrard etc etc

IMO they just don't have that hunger, already being multi-millionaires most of them are one club/trick ponies..... they don't have the wide experience needed in adversity.
 
We’re not going will Lee Cattermole because of Him being a Doyle in pubs when he was younger and he’s only got limited experience with the academy..
but we’ll go with Steven Gerrard who was involves involved with allsorts of shady stuff and started Rangers with the same experience?

we’re saying no to Duncan Fergusson because of the assault, but yes to Gerrard regardless of an assault?
 
I actually think the way Gerard plays with the full backs getting right up the pitch, bypassing the midfield and using the wide areas would suit our squad. Can't see him coming though

No one apart from one poster in a moment of mad delusion has suggested we go for Gerrard, do calm down.
We don't want Cattermole because he has zero experience and would be the cheap lazy option, nothing to do with things that happened decades ago.

Warnock back until the end of the season would be the right decision.. but Gibson, Scott & Bausor admitting they got it wrong with Wilder?

I think they’d rather slip into league one!

There’s no doubt in my mind he’d keep us up. But as you say, there’s more to it than that.

TBH I’m getting to the point where I don’t care who it is. Maybe we could just get Rav? It would be fun and he’s always wanted the job. He could keep Cattermole on his staff and the pair of them could swan about on Yarm High Street like they own the place.
