Isaiah Jones

was one of the best players in the league for a 3 month stint last season, cant cross the road this season though.

If Wilder makes it into next season at Watford I can see him going there, more likely though he will end up at QPR

"Sources have exclusively told football league world".

Yeah righto. He might well be allowed to leave, but probably more likely it's guesswork based on the fact he's highly rated and not getting a game.
Highly rated from who? his form has dipped dramatically this year, and the fact he cannot make the 18 man squad on matchday says it all.
Many players have lost form, Dele Alli a class example.
Carrick sees him at every training session, and he is obviously not impressing the manger or the staff, to try and force his way back in.
Not sure how much he is worth, but selling him would be the best option, if someone would buy him, rather than sending him out on loan.

Alright wind your neck in. He's still well thought of in the game, he has a lot of assets that are hard to find. He won't be the first player to lose form at a club but still attract a lot of interest. Particularly at his age.

Was only last week he was included in this list. Not saying I agree he should be on it (although think it's based on stats so opinions not really relevant), but the point is he's still a player that's going to be on a lot of clubs radars.

I think he's ideally suited to playing as an attacking right wing back in a 5--3-2. Last season he was excellent in that position, probably our best player.
Even this season, in the first 3rd when we played with him as a wing back, despite the team being woefully out of form, and low on confidence he had 3 goals and 3 assists, plus I remember he won us at least one penalty and was man of the match against Sunderland.
Not bad for essentially a defender in a struggling team, over 15 or 16 games.

Form is temporary - class is permanent.
He’s had problems this season and little chance to play through them. He’s young and inexperienced. He’ll come good again.
Yes but he's too inexperienced for that to apply. Maybe we were just seeing "form" last season. I'd like to hope not, but for me where he'll end up is pretty unpredictable. He could end up at a high level, or league 1, i'm not sure which.

We dont know what is going to happen from now until the end of the season. We might make it to the playoff finals and need to field a team patched up with forgotten men..

-------------------Roberts-----------------
-------Dijksteel--McNair--Bola-----------
Jones--Barlaser--Crooks--Mowatt--Giles
---------------Forss--Muniz---------------

Carrick might just have to turn the tables and play a completely different style. We just don't know..

Maybe Warnock invited Carrick for a drink after the Huddersfield game and passed on his book of barsterdary.. every dirty trick, every dastardly play.. the hidden mantra of the dark arts.

Your patched up team theory reminds me of the FA cup semi against Arsenal

Probably been the biggest disappointment of Carrick's tenure so far that he's failed to get a tune out of Jones? I really thought that Isiah would push on under Carrick's tutelage, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he initially break through as an out & out winger under Warnock?

Can’t cross a ball, don’t rate his attitude talented player but there’s a reason he can’t get a game.

Can't think why any Prem side would be looking to sign a player who isn't capable of holding a place down in a Champo side.
