I would love racism not to exist but I'm pretty sure it doesI’m genuinely surprised people see players as black or white in this day and age it’s 2024 ffs.

My point is black players aren’t a “novelty” (horrible phrase) anymore in the way they were back in the past, look at how many black players we as a club have hadI would love racism not to exist but I'm pretty sure it does
I think you're living in a dream utopia cause this is so naive. My point is black players aren’t a “novelty” (horrible phrase) anymore in the way they were back in the past, look at how many black players we as a club have had
so surely any racists have long since moved on ( you’d hope).
They will always be here I’m afraid, I mean look at this I took the other day from another so called boro forum. We will always have racists and bigots i am sad to say.My point is black players aren’t a “novelty” (horrible phrase) anymore in the way they were back in the past, look at how many black players we as a club have had

You have to read that right to the end. They will always be here I’m afraid, I mean look at this I took the other day from another so called boro forum. We will always have racists and bigots i am sad to say.
It makes me very sad in this day and age that people think that’s acceptable. You have to read that right to the end.
It was a pretty shocking statement from a half wit.
I do hope. Racism, elitism, sectarianism are all social constructs that have to be actively dismissed by effort and thought. It's not surprising some people may never apply, or cannot apply that level of critical thought or have the emotional intelligence to do so.My point is black players aren’t a “novelty” (horrible phrase) anymore in the way they were back in the past, look at how many black players we as a club have had

I’ll discuss any issue and it didn’t trigger anything but as others have said how does race explain the undue criticism the likes of fry McNair Engel and esp barlasser get and have got all season. .Big fan of Jones.
On the subject of racial bias raised by roofie, I find it surprising it triggered so many folks. Whether it plays a part or not isn't really the point. The fact that people would rather not discuss the possibility is a problem though.
"I give your comments the time and credit they deserve" is No. 2 on his list of 'go-to' patronising put-downs.Whatever pal
You’re the one with the issue.
Btw like wise
I disagree I don’t think he wants to play there and replacing him in this way might sicken him off. He’ll do a job but I can’t see his future there.Back on track, how would people feel if we brought in a new RW or Forss comes back and play Jones as a RB?
I feel that is where he can realise his potential.
I don’t think he’s good enough in the final third to hit the next level, he’s great defensively and he would still cause teams problems as a marauding right back.I disagree I don’t think he wants to play there and replacing him in this way might sicken him off. I think it could be changed, Engel was quite defensive yesterday and it worked, I think he could hold his own dropping in.Wouldnt really suit the way we play I don’t think
Carrick likes us to be quite “lopsided” with an attacking left back and a more defensive right back who can tuck in to make a back 3.
Think it would just be an option in the last 20 mins if we’re chasing a game / struggling to break a team down
