I can't imagine that the Beeb have been in league on this. I get the impression they were investigating properly and had no evidence to progress it.

I think that the parents going to The Sun may be a money grab. The Sun might have sat on it for a few weeks before releasing it to coincide with the rest of the ***show that's going on with this government.
 
I haven’t seen all the reports on this, but I think from the more I’ve heard and given the police say no criminality as far as they know, The Sun has from the bits i’ve seen, seem to have basically invaded his privacy. It would not surprise me if they got wind of his mental health issues and accidentally gave him a nudge in case more came out without them actually having any evidence to substantiate allegations. It would not surprise me if it turned out the young blokes parents sold the info they had to The Sun and hoped for a bigger pay day somehow, pure speculation, but stranger stuff happens.

The guys career with the Beeb is over and I suspect he’ll not be sacked but retire on health grounds and no more said. Clearly his actions as a married man leave a stain on his standing and have caused untold pain and hurt to his wife and kids. I hope he gets the treatment he needs and finds his happy place in his personal life in time and can reflect on his inappropriate behaviours moving forwards. It is going to be difficult for all and they should be left to try and see if some healing and time will benefit all concerned.

War In Europe, Inflation and mortgages rocketing, Food becoming unaffordable to some, families in crisis everywhere, but the biggest story is a newsreader buying a d*ck pic off a grown man. Who took the Great out of Great Britain? Will we see the headline ‘It was The Sun Wot Dun It’

He's done wrong, a lot wrong...but not illegal according to the police...been hounded for days and is now in hospital....I hope he gets the help he needs

I'd like to sharpen my 'mental health card' and jab it into the eye of anyone who uses the phrase 'mental health card'.
