It snowed like a wasp flap last night in Catterick. My neighbour took pity on me when he saw me using my pathetic little scraper and used his broom to clear the snow off my car roof after he'd finished his.

Had it in Great Ayton this morning too, around 5am. Woke me up so was super loud.

The A684 from A19 to Northallerton hadn’t been gritted and it was shocking. I’ve never driven on a road so bad. Every incline had several stuck cars and lorries. I saw 3 crashed cars in less than 4 miles. It took an hour to move 9 miles. Anything rear wheel drive was stuck or dumped. The most dangerous conditions I’ve ever driven in. I was 40 minutes late for work.
