ITV confirmation Number Ten partied whilst the rest of us locked down.

From a 6 second clip he's saying we don't need a criminal investigation to make Johnson own up to the party. Which we don't.

Okay well I'm just saying if I was advising Starmer I'd have had him say the parts about owning up and telling the truth, and then just not say anything about a criminal investigation. There's no benefit for Starmer in turning down the heat like that IMO.

Cummins left on the 13th Nov?

Please tell me this party was to celebrate that

We now need pics or video for the KO, preferably with Alexander and his nearest cohorts in attendance

The snake oil Health Secretary Javid has just been on BBC Breakfast floundering under questions. “Why as Health Secretary in a crisis you chose not to come on TV to answer questions yesterday?” Javid : “ I was too upset about the laughing and joking”. (Complete and utter contempt for us now)

but it is clear what the party line is

1. A party didn’t take place
2. The cabinet Secretary will conduct an internal investigation to prove that one didn’t Take place

That was never his answer? **** me, they really do think we're all thick as mince don't they?

Mind, as long as long enough keep voting and supporting them maybe they have a point.

But you're twisting his words, he's not saying there shouldn't be a criminal investigation, he said we don't need one to make the PM own up. They are completely different things.

It's a 6 second selectively edited clip.

Yes it really was his answer and the BBC are so incredulous they have led with it again just now.

Get real.

"So I say to him be honest, own up. We don't need a criminal investigation. We need a prime minister whos honest about it."

I'm not twisting anything. His words are his words. He quite literally says we don't need a criminal investigation. I don't see how you're coming to your interpretation.

I thought Starmer did quite well in PMQs earlier. Was glad Ian Blackford was asking when the PM would tender his resignation too.

Not sure why Starmers been saying there shouldn't be a criminal investigation tbh. Even if he thinks that, just keep shtum and let other people demand it.

Did you watch PMQ's where Starmer called for the PM to submit evidence to the Police?

"Will the Prime Minister support the Police and support the CPS by by handing over everything the Government knows about parties in Downing Street to the Metropolitan Police"

Your clip isn't Starmer saying the Police shouldn't investigate, he's saying that if the PM was honest it wouldn't need the Police, he would just admit it and say sorry.

Yet again certain Corbynites / anti-Starmer posters come on here on a thread discussing blatant illegal activity in No 10 and try to turn it into Starmer's fault somehow.

Change the record

This is exactly the point he is making. You can't take a 6 second clip out of context and berate Starmer with it. That's the kind of stuff the Tories do.

The first thing I said om the thread was I thought Starmer did well at PMQs. Jeez, you cultists are sensitive. ;)

It ***** me off that people are still willing to turn this complete Government ***show into an attack on Starmer.

It's crazy isn't it? They would rather the Tories in and all the illegality that goes with it rather than Starmer. It is sickening. They are worse than Tories in my book.

Ah so you saw Starmer say that the Met should deal with it but then chose to post a clip to suit your narrative. That's even worse.

Intersting point though re cult - I suppose I am in a cult - the anti-Tory one. Wanna join it? ;)

An attack ffs. All I've said is I'd have preferred he'd left one 6 word sentence out of his media round.

I think in this instance people are remembering your constant attacks on Starmer and are thinking that you are at it again. Maybe you aren't but short soundbites aren't helpful in disproving this. And I seriously doubt that it will effect the mood of the populous. It's a non point really - you could have stopped after you praised Starmer in PMQ's.
