Watching Cameroon the other day made me think back to watching him play for them in the African nations cup when he was on loan here.
He didn’t make the World Cup squad but he’s actually doing pretty well in the Portuguese top league with Estoril scoring 3 in 13 for them. He joined them on a free in the summer

He just wasn’t suited to the English game, he wanted far too much time on the ball and he’d usually get tackled before he figured out what to do with it. He also wasn’t a fan of tracking runners and seemed to just watch as they went past.

on a free? what was the deal he was on for us? option to buy or obligation to buy? I seem to remember it being pretty hefty!

First couple of appearances I thought I saw enough to suggest we had a decent player.
Man I was so very very wrong. He was completely out of his depth here. I’m trying to be polite.

I wonder how we got out of the 'almost automatic' option to buy? I bet we had to pay a few quid for that one!

Based on Barnsley away and that 45 mins.... He's not even a footballer.

The only player I've seen worse for Boro was Kike Sola. Genuinely didn't even look like professionals 😂

Kike Sola looked like there'd been a raffle in the Navvy pre-match (entry for pished up fat knackers only) and the winner got to play for the Boro in a match.
