Hard to believe he is 29 years old, lets see how Forest fans react to that when they are getting battered every week

Christ Aaron Connelly got battered on here for taking his bird out for a meal and then dropping her off at the train station.. Imagine the reaction if he posted some of the stuff Forest and 'Jlingz' has posted over the past few days!!

doing a dance off the pitch and what he does on it are two totally spearate things and nobody will even remember this. Does Matt Crooks now have to prove himself as serious after being a bit daft on his "video diary"?

Ive changed the title because on reflection I was probably being harsh. It was an instant cringing reaction but having read others thoughts, including yours by the way, have been persuaded I was wrong. Ok?

Fair enough, I can understand people finding it cringey, but I do think people give him too much abuse for doing what you see many ordinary people posting on social media every week.

It is harmless and I mean nothing personal as in... outside of football / him on a personal level.

But as a football fan... he's just been released from united for being deemed not good enough. He needs to kick some footballs before prancing about in JLingz shirts for his own publicity.

Social media is a judgemental medium - opinion and comment. We are all guilty of it including no doubt yourself at times.

I find Lingard's "shapes" rather fetching - Forest fans must love him even more.

I have been waiting for the - "He should spend more time getting better at football and less time dancing" argument, and yes, I am not disappointed because here it is. Do we think that if he spent the 5 minutes it took him to make this, kicking a football instead that he would be at Real Madrid now instead of Forest?
 
I'd probably roll my eyes if I was a Forest fan but it at least arguably it shows he's happy to be going there.

Obviously for that money most would be happy signing for anyone, but if he hated the thought of playing for them but was just going to see it through and pocket the money, I doubt he'd be dancing around in the shirt.
 
Harmless fun really. Forest are taking a gamble, but I guess if it comes off, it pays for itself. If it fails, he leaves after a year. As some have mentioned, might not be great for team morale, if as likely he is the highest paid player by a mile. However Cooper seems to be able to gel a new team together pretty quickly, so will have to wait and see how it works out. I think we are all a bit envious that Forest went up and not us, but that's the way it is.
