Joe Joyce

Here's a local lad to watch out for in the coming years in the heavyweight division. Will's a big Boro fan and a great lad. Just turned pro with a good youth/amateur pedigree. Peter Fury is his trainer so he's in good hands in terms of his development. Already sparring with some big names, Hughie Fury, Fabio Wardley, Nathan Gorman etc. Hopefully we'll see him fighting at the Riverside one day.

I couldn’t believe how amateur Joyce looked, I think AJ is now a middle of the road has been boxer but he would flatten him in a couple of rounds. Barring a few the HW division is pretty poor.

He is very static, but then he always has been. His game isn't about movement. Very gracious in defeat, and for my money if it went beyond a couple of rounds he'd KO Wilder. He's still got a big part to play at the the top table of HW boxing.

Bloody hell do you think? I think he’d be target practice for Wilder.. a couple of his power punches would do much more damage than Zhang did. In my opinion Wilder would beat Joyce and Joshua, and I’m AJ’s biggest fan.

I honestly think with aj and wilder it would be whoever lands first as wilder has been dropped by lots of light hitters

Not a massive boxing fan but put it on last night to see what the hype about Joyce was.

Thought he was terrible. Wide open from the off, after the first round I said to the missis he either gets knocked out or his eye will cause a TKO.

No movement and his "punches" were like slow mo, honest opinion he looked like one of those white collar boxers.
