Exactly, he never refused to prosecute Saville because I don't believe a case was brought before him to consider....because a number of high profile elites had long protected Saville. She tried 5 times to get him knighted

It is becoming ever more Trumpian as each day passes.
The whaterboutary, the Sleeze, the almost cultish devotion from the likes of Dorries and the thinking that some successes are a free pass for all of the failures.
Johnson used to be entertaining, in a 'feel sorry for him' way while he was away from the levers of power, but his naked self-promotion, ambition and self-interest has taken over. He's genuinely giving Thatcher a run for her money and I never thought I'd have to say that of anyone.

This morning Raab was embarrassing himself on the breakfast TV rounds saying Keir Starmer has questions to answer and refusing to say that Johnson was wrong for saying what he said.
Surely the most ardent of Tory supporters can see this is vile, vile territory straight from the Trump playbook? A PM using Parliamentary priviledge to falsely suggest Keir Starmer effectively helped a pedophile. It's disgusting and any Tories that continue to support him are complicit in this disgusting attack on democracy.
And to think people used to say it was ridiculous comparing this Government with early 30s Germany. Let's see, a power grab? tick. A vile, racist leader? Tick. Constant lies and propaganda? Tick. Where the hell is this going to end?
