He had Covid didn't he? That might explain a couple of games out and then a couple of quiet games?

I think that he is an important member of the team. He can put in a cross, something that Coulson and Spence seemingly are incapable of.

But the new additions means competition for places.

I think Watmore is our star signing of the year and, unless he's still struggling with post-Covid fitness, I'd start him every game. He should have come on immediately against 10 men (if not before).

I agree, he’s been brilliant. Hopefully this week with no game gives all the lads that little bit of rest and should all be ready to go on Saturday.
 
I like him but lets be honest he is limited. His goal return for a forward is not what we are looking for and not enough assists. Good defensive winger to use in games against the top sides and useful to bring off the bench when you're leading to help shore things up

4 goals and 5 assists. The most assists by any of our players. Only Johnson, McNair, Saville, Tav and Morsy have more than 1 assist this season.
