Three more journalists covering Just Stop Oil protests have been arrested in the last two days.
Despite being credentialled members of the press and (at least in the case of the LBC reporter) showing their press pass, they were summarily handcuffed and detained, "on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a public nuisance."
The two photographers arrested the day before were held for thirteen hours and one of them had his house searched while he was in custody.

I'm not saying I agree with everything Just Stop Oil is doing and all of their tactics, but I think it's a worrying development when police start using their new powers under the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022, to arrest journalists and search their houses just for covering their protests.
