Just looking back at Forss strike

I’d put money on Forss out scoring Lath if he was played up front
His goalscoring record was actually poor whilst at Brentford, and I believe he played as a striker whilst he was there.

I actually think we should be playing him up front at this moment in time, but he's played wide right mostly since Carrick came in and done well. It may just be that this is the position where he can be most effective.

Lath is going to come good in my opinion, he was showing signs of this before he got injured. He will be an important player for us next season if we're still in the Championship.

He was pretty young playing for Brentford back then - I’d say he’s developed quite a bit since those days there

It was a goal every 153 minutes for Brentford in the Championship, he scored 7 in 39 games but only started 9 of them and only played 1,077 minutes overall.

So it's not as bad a record as it looks on the face of it, it's pretty decent for a 21 year old who was largely a sub.

Yes good points there. He just looks like a very good finisher, and he has really had chance to show what he can do given a proper run as a centre forward for us yet

Though it probably doesn't help my point that he's a striker being played on the wing when he's probably started almost as many games as a winger in his domestic career than he has a striker now.

Going to check now because I'm sad.

Judging off Transfermarkt, so it could be inaccurate, but he's started:

Striker: 57
Wide: 22

So not as close as I thought, though a lot of those starts were in League One.
