We might have already replaced him..

Can’t see the fee being £20m like.. boro quoted as asking for £15m.. £10m will be closer.. more like £8m unfortunately

Perhaps the lad from Bedale will come to our rescue.
Without checking, He’s about the same age as Cloughy when he came into the team. After getting 3 goals in 9 games Brian was then a goal a game man throughout his career.
Josh looks like he has the talent to be a goalscorer. Let’s give him a chance.

I'm sure there would be loads of clubs interested at 8mill, which is why Chuba is still here.

I know loads of our fans want to sell chuba for a lion bar and a bag of balls but in the real world Chuba is worth 15mill easy.

I think we want £15m.. which is why Chuba is still here. £8m fee.. £40k a week for 3 years (£6m) = £14m deal ish

But most football clubs operate in "the real world" whereas fans sit there plucking figures out of the air without much thought or reason, and often ignorant to a lot of other circumstances.

Newy man, some no mark on twitter saying some made up figure has literally zero relevance to the real world. I could go on twitter and say "I believe Middlesbrough are interested in signing Mbappe, they've offered £50,000 plus the contents of Neil Warnock's bum bag. PSG are said to be seriously considering it." Wouldn't mean it was true.....
