Will be best signing of the summer. The decision making over the past has been shocking at times behind the scenes. I think he will know what to do in terms reshuffling getting the right people in for the long term and do our homework before recruiting.

Been a long time coming.
Good move.

Wasn’t that long ago warnock mentioned he might go up stairs when speculating on his own future so I wonder if he even knew about this until recently

read that he is bringing a team of people from Norwich, not just coming on his own. Good news as they will have a method of working and will be able to land and start the process quickly.

I think it's telling when Gibson had to get help from outside of the club with the likes of Peter Kenyon. Its better late than never but I think this is the start of something positive this guy seems to know his stuff.

Seems like very much part of the planning post Warnock. Reading his quotes from TalkSport, not sure how happy he is, but accepts this is the way we want to go. It definitely feels like his last season.

He could bring a team of 10 with him and it would be a drop in the ocean financially compared to gestede's fee and wages.
exactly, just one good decision stopping you from wasting 6mill transfer fee and 30k/week for 4 years on a spud would pay for the whole of that recruitment team for about 3 decades I would think.

NW will give it a right good go to go out on a high. He’ll know we need to plan beyond his tenure and will accept it. I don’t think he’ll be upset by it or his efforts affected by it.

The DoF will work behind the scenes preparing the club for next season whichever league we are in.

I don’t see there being any conflict. It’s sensible.

Get him in, push the boat out. Him and Uche up front would be formidable. Uche's strength and his lethal left foot we'll look scary.
All of a sudden it's looking bright again.
Just hope we sign Bamba before the weekend.

I’m liking the look of this. Long term planning and its out of the Matey circle as well
Been too much nepotism and colloquial thinking. Football has been one of those industries that has been run in a really unprofessional manner for a long time. I'm glad we are trying to move to a more professional, expert led way of working.

I'm surprised the speculation who we'll bring in as Head Coach hasn't reached fever pitch. It's hardly been mentioned, apart from a couple of people on One Boro thinking it'll be Bamba. I guess they're putting two and two together!

I think its certain that Scott (and his team) will have the majority share when it comes to picking our next coach (rather than manager).

In fact, it's probably the priority that Gibson et al will set for him to work on.
