Just read an article about his coaching journey, sounds like he has dived in with both feet and is really enjoying it. He's got so much experience, 12 seasons in the prem, 400+ career games. Grown up a lot from that drunken scamp, and being Boro mad still he had to be brought back. Would love to see Leadbitter back too, to support the youth teams, those two could really impart the right attitude on our kids.
I hope he doesn't take them down the pub.

He’s been there since around March while he’s doing his badges. Great appointment if you ask me. Still has the ability and desire on the training pitch to show the lads what it takes to be a pro footballer.

Not really, I mean he left the club when he was 20 or 21 over a decade ago as an immature kid and had nothing to do with the club until 6 months ago where we let him do some voluntary work. It's not like he has spent a decade in the first team then straight into the coaching side.
