Me, I'll be one of the few people that can vote for myself, along with Mick Thompson and Julia Cooke the 3 Labour candidates for Berwick Hills and Pallister.

Oh and of course Chris Cooke for mayor.

I'm a little surprised there is only one Labour candidate standing in Marton West. I therefore have a spare vote with no home!

Marton West isn't a place Labour are usually successful, and it's hard work standing for election, even just getting the papers right is a pain, it's always tough to get candidates for seats that we don't have much success in.

Yes, I understand and kudos to you for putting yourself out there. Just seems like a wasted vote to be honest.

For me as a proud paper candidate and so is my wife

Genuinely bricking it when when I checked electoral calculus and it has the ward going red. Winning is the last thing I want and the wife would kill me.

Got to vote for the councillors who will do the best job for you. If that is Lib Dem, so be it.

Our Labour councillors are very visible in the area, so no problems voting for them. Tories.....never seen ANYTHING of them. No green leaflets put through the door, knocking on etc etc

Parents have always voted Tory until now...it's been a massive shock with them being in their 70s and very much stuck in their ways. Think they have been swayed by McClintock (Lib) in the Nunthorpe area. Mieke Smiles can do one...I hope she's well and truly kicked out.
