Looking forward to the new season?

Yes esp after the Marseille game as yes it was only pre season but you could see wilders vision and shape taking place.

This is how I like football to be played high tempo short passing and using width ( everything pullis wasn’t) on BOTH flanks get the ball into the box.

So yes

I'm buzzing. I think all fans love the start of the season as you start with a clean sweep and expectations.

I'm not overly fussed about the lack of signings yet. We may start a bit light up top but we can fudge our way through the first few games with Watmore / Coburn and now maybe Akpom.

It's not ideal. Yet looking around it's the same with the majority of clubs.

Roll on WBA👍

I'm in the same boat as last year
(almost literally 😗 ) away til just after the season starts so not quite getting the feeling of the build up. Looking forward to getting back and to the first match I can where like last year I'll be annoying the people in the neighbouring seats asking them daft questions like who's he ? 😁
Cautiously optimistic like I have been for years 👶

I expect an improvement on last season points wise.

Fans have bought in this Summer with around 19k STs sold despite the economic recession. The Riverside is going to be fully that is a good sign.

Just a bit surprised non of the Spence money has been invested.

Yep, really looking forward to it.

I'm very concerned about the striker situation, but I'm just excited to have football back regardless of our failures or successes with transfers.

Absolutely cannot wait, think we will see a signing or two this week as well.
Hopefully a signing might happen, i just hope we hang on to Tav. Think with Giles alongside him he will quite easily reach 10 to 12, put them with the same from Crooks, say 7 from Mcgree, plus around 10 extra points that Steffan saves us and it all seems easy peasy.

As we know the league is a marathon not a sprint, so while we’re definitely short of quality in the middle and upfront I’d say believe in CW, as he’s the first manager for quite sometime who seems to know what he’s doing (hopefully).

I can’t wait! I think we’ve made some quality acquisitions that improve our starting line up hugely, in Giles, Steffen and Lenihan. Looking forward to seeing who we get through the door in the next couple of weeks. I’m really optimistic for a fantastic season!

Life isnt the same without footy and whilst I want to get really buzzing about next season, I look at the squad and fear it could be a ‘ what might have been’ season. The prospect of Tav leaving doesn’t help either. Still, there is time to get the players in and if we get those that we have been linked with I can see us top 2, especially after Marseille.

We still need to invest, but I expect we will improve on last season's points and consistency. We need a good start but as we're a bit thin on the ground in key areas there might be a few tough results to take in the opening matches.

We have to hold on to Tav (at least for a few more weeks) and hope we're not scrambling signings over the line in six week's time.

Overall, big picture, we're all heading in the right direction.
