Looks like the ‘one love’ armbands are getting the boot.

I called this weeks ago esp how vocal about it we were.

It was never going to be allowed to happen no way were fifa going to allow this. Esp how vocal and defiant we were about it.

Very naive from the England camp along with Gareth really to think it could happen in fifas watch.

So will we still be taking the knee then??
 
England had to pull out.

It's a shame, but we can't be having Kane on 1 yellow card, when it only takes a silly challenge to get another yellow and have him sent off.

Plus it's only 3 yellows before you get a 1 match ban I believe, and he's absolutely pivotal to us, if we want to succeed.

At least this represents FIFA for who they really are and it puts yet another bad light on them,
 
I wonder what that bloke who says Qatar is a forward looking exciting country to be in thinks of it all.....what's his name? Ahhh that's it, Beckham....the one with the missus who's always laughing...
Or will he be protecting his pieces of silver he sold his soul for?? I wonder

It's only 2 yellow cards.

But I'd sooner England had just rotated the band amongst the squad to avoid it impacting one player and make a statement.

I think that's more important than the football.

Instead they've caved to FIFA.

Good on Shearer, and I believe him. He has a spine at least.

More proof that no-one actually cares about any of Qatar's politics or the massive hypocrisy on display.

I’m surprised at Beckham - he already has bucket loss of money so they must have paid him an obscene amount of money for him to get involved in this!

It's what needs to be done. Imagine they all have it on the arm in the form of a print.

Referee walks round the pitch yellow carding 11 players.

That alone in one game would be a huge statement/get the message across
