He's not particularly wealthy as far as I know. He can't be seen as a threat to society, his status may have helped the decision.

Had he been a freemason the case may not have got to court, as happened to the father of a former colleague of mine.
 
If they are guilty of a crime that will get a custodial sentence they should not be given bail
'Get your affairs in order' - had plenty of time to do that before the trial knowing they were guilty

Such a mentality exists in court.
 
I see Mendy has just been released on bail as well. Ridiculous 7 separate victims come forward and yet a judge thinks it’s a good idea to let him out.
