Tragic isn't it. One of the all time great voices back in the day, even as recently as 10 years ago he still sounded fantastic. There are some cracking YouTube videos from festivals around 2010-2012 where he sounds incredible. God knows what happened though.

Agree, I was a huge fan of them until it all came out (I had just got a signed CD too, I admit I still have it...sealed - don't think it's worth much now!).

I miss their music but there's no way I could listen to them without thinking of the horrific things he was doubtless singing about.

Love would be a bit strong, because I've never really had much time for them, but every time I've seen Kasabian on something I've thought "this lot aren't as bad as I remember" until the vocals start. Oh dear.

Smashing Pumpkins - though as a result of his awful voice I actually hate the band too (but can see that plenty of the music is good).

GNR - I don't think he's ever had a 'good' voice, personally.

Thom Yorke CAN sing but since the late 90s has chosen to either abstain or sing badly, on purpose, to make his music more 'interesting'. Whatever.
