Of course he did. It was never about anti-Semitism anyway. It was 100% about being anti-left wing. She was one of the leading Blairites that cares only about winning and has no interest in helping people. She, and many other Blairite MPs wanted Corbyn gone more than they wanted a Labour win. She quit as a minister to force Corbyn out when they tried to oust him after the Brexit vote and then when that didn't work they changed angle of attack to institutional anti-Semitism.
There was no doubt some anti-Semitic attacks, just like there are other racist, misogynistic attacks. It is unfortunately something that happens to MPs because a portion of society are horrific people. That is not the same as being an institutionally racist/misogynistic party. Corbyn condemned everything, he clearly goes out of his way to show he's anything but a bigot more than any other leader I've seen. Many of them say what is required of them when condemning certain things but very few of them do it sincerely like Corbyn does.
It's shameful that someone like Berger is being used as any sort of signal of progress when she is exactly the opposite.
